Paragraph 1: Speech Tone
Out of all the speeches we listened to today the one thats tone resonated the most with me was the the speech by Obama. During his speech he incorporated many pauses to add emphasis to certain points that he wanted to stand out. Also, at other points he spoke louder to make sure people knew his main points. This speech style is highly effective at conveying the meaning behind many speeches, however I do believe that the speech style that would be the best fit for my speech would be the tone used by Zach Wahls. In his speech his voice has more passion and would more likely sway the audience into siding with his argument which is a very important factor in order to give a good persuasive speech.
Paragraph 2: Speech Meaning
Out of all the speeches we listened to the speech that’s content resonated the most with me was the one by Zach Wahls. The content was heartfelt and meaningful but he also got straight to the point with what he was arguing for. Overall the I remember what he talked about more than any other speaker. He related parts of his speech to his own life which only enhanced the quality if his argument, and also incorporated many myths that he proved wrong. Using the combination of fact and heartfelt meaning he produced the most persuasive and meaningful speech out of the four.
